If only we could get this game back up and running and get a team working on fixing any issues and such, man this game would be good. Use to sneak on to computer in highschool and play it.

Hey guys, I dunno how many of ya remember me, but I'm Cloud from WAY back in the day XD... I was reading a bit and have about come to the conclusion that SoA is down for good.... If there's anything I can do to help to bring back the game, I'd be more than glad to help.. I finally have interwebz at home so I can play pretty well anytime after work and would love to see some of the guys back...

Can we just plan a week every quarter that the game is up and people can play?  Then it can be taken down.  I would LOVE to get back into some freakin mining!  Been so long, miss this game!

It's difficult to tell what'll happen. The state of the server a while back was not that great, and i'm assuming the server went down because of lack of players. If there is going to be a time this year when SoA returns, it'd be sometime soon in preparation for October~December. Unfortunately, even the irc that the devs often frequent has been rather inactive as well.
