It?s Baldon ? the same guy who ran Secrets of Asherah from 2001?2007. I stumbled across this old forum again and realized some of you might still swing by.
The game is back.

Secrets of Asherah 2 is in open beta right now. It?s a full freemium MMORPG built on the Intersect Engine and heading to Steam. Same world and spirit, completely rebuilt: bigger map, daily auto-updates, player housing and farming, shared Underworld dungeons, deeper crafting chains, and the Forest of Illusions is as brutal as you remember.

All the classics are here, plus a ton of new stuff for veterans and newcomers alike.

If only we could get this game back up and running and get a team working on fixing any issues and such, man this game would be good. Use to sneak on to computer in highschool and play it.

Due asherah is not coming back, we could bring another FSO by or own.

Hey guys, I dunno how many of ya remember me, but I'm Cloud from WAY back in the day XD... I was reading a bit and have about come to the conclusion that SoA is down for good.... If there's anything I can do to help to bring back the game, I'd be more than glad to help.. I finally have interwebz at home so I can play pretty well anytime after work and would love to see some of the guys back...

Can we just plan a week every quarter that the game is up and people can play?  Then it can be taken down.  I would LOVE to get back into some freakin mining!  Been so long, miss this game!
