Hello!, I might not have been old enough to remember you/your name or if I even played 12 years ago but it's nice to see old players still check up. ^_^

Nice sprites, not sure if this is off topic but have you thought of trying an android version of SoA? There has been some discussion about and android FSO client on the unfungames forums but idk if anything got done.

I would like to see SoA back up, as It was my little distraction from the world and other things. When I wasn't playing Call of Duty or GTA or...sleeping? lol I was playing SoA and having pretty good chats with pretty much every person I saw on. (It seemed I was friends with every player)

Anyways, Me and my bro are good :) I just moved to Queensland on a tropical island in a little caravan park right next to the beach ^_^. It is good to see people are still keeping track of Secrets of Asherah.

Side Note - OH! btw Dias, will you perhaps include other players in the story?

Amazing work Dias! I myself have thought about righting a mini booklet of sorts about games but never had the talent for writing, (although I did a few pages about Skyrim, but are long gone now). We will be waiting with anticipation on the 2nd chapter! :)

General Discussion / Elixer Of Regeneration
« on: January 16, 2014, 05:51:00 AM »
Hey, I was just wondering if this means that the potion raises the maximum amount of experience you can reach in order to regain the 1 lost hp per potion?

"Additionally there is an Elixer of Regeneration that will assist you if you have permanently lost HP. You will recall that about 30% of the time your character is defeated by monsters you lose HP. That means that, if the potential ceiling for HP is 500 and you lose one HP, you will never be able to get about 499. The problem is not so apparent at early levels. For instance, if you have 20 HP and you lose 1 HP, it says 19. You fight some more monsters and it goes back up to 20. But you STILL have lost one hp off the TOP. This will only become an issue if you want to play very competitively and being in the top ten or in the top position is very important to you.

In that case, you can buy an Elixer of Regeneration from an admin. The current price (subject to change without notice) is $10.00. You cannot buy them in stores, however we occasionally give them as prizes for events. They are administered exactly like all the other elixers (see above). They do not actually GIVE you hitpoints, they only restore the potentiality of hitpoints - that is, they raise the ceiling back up to what it was before you lost HP (in our example, it's 500). When your HP Potential is restored, your HP will not change. However, as you continue to fight monsters you will level up to the maximum HP allowed in the game."

Thank You.

Please keep in mind these ideas are hypothetical, you don't have to argue about if they will work or not.

Another Idea, an automatic 'Online List' that will, well automaticly show who is online so we don't have to keep pressing 'Who is online' when ever someone leaves or joins to update the list.

Stackable cabinets is another one I have been thinking about. Cabinets should become stackable until they are dropped and have items put into them, This could also be done with crates and wind cabinets.

A hunger bar perhaps? To keep track of how hungry you are and when you need/should eat.

While eating, you will get full, but you will still be able to consume food that will do nothing to your health. Perhaps when you are full, a message will show up in chat saying something like "You could not eat another bite!" and it won't consume your food.

For the mappers/admins how about removing layer 1 and making tiles block-able by right clicking them while in 'WE' and having something to show the tile is blocked or not. (This idea was in another game and it worked very well. I take no credit for this idea)

I've always thought that the water tile looked a bit...dull, how about adding a little animation to it to make it look like its wavy or moving slightly.

I've had a hard time finding out where to buy things and knowing how much they are, so how about a marketing system?

More to come! I will be editing this post when I think of other ideas that I would like to share. Remember, you can throw in some of your ideas too!

Hey guys, Cruise here and I am making this topic to see what ideas you guys and girls have. You can post practically anything here, so come on people, lets hear your ideas!

I will start this off with an idea that I shared with Asherah a couple of nights ago as a little joke, but then thought about it for a while and rememberd I had these:

These were talked about a little between Asherah and I about having these asa new npc, a gang member or something.
